Pursuant to Section 28.24(26)(b), the Clerk will assess a $5.00 partial payment fee "For receiving and disbursing all partial payments, other than restitution payments, for which an administrative processing service charge is not imposed pursuant to Section 28.246, per month."

The Clerk’s Office accepts the following methods of payment:  cash, cashier’s checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and certified funds.  We also accept payments from Western Union and Amscot.  Payments for court related fines, costs, and fees can be made at our full service counters at the North Brevard Government Center in Titusville, the Merritt Island Service Complex, the Moore Justice Center in Viera, the Melbourne Branch Courthouse, and the Brevard County Service Complex in Palm Bay. 

The Clerk’s Office does not accept payments by check for child support.  Checks for child support must be mailed to the Florida State Disbursement Unit in Tallahassee.  We accept cash, cashier’s check, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and certified funds for child support payments.

When paying by credit card, a convenience fee is assessed based on the amount you are paying.  The Clerk’s Office does not receive any part of this fee.

The Clerk's Office will only accept large volumes of change as rolled coin.
