Departments

The Courts department encompasses several divisions within the Clerk’s Office: Circuit Civil, County Civil (Small Claims), Family Law, Felony, Jury Services, Juvenile, Misdemeanor, Probate, and Traffic.

Court department employees attend court sessions, prepare and maintain court calendars, receive and record all documents filed within the Clerk’s Office, and oversee jury selection.

Additional responsibilities include money collection and disbursement for assessed court costs and fines, as well as maintaining information required for State Statistical Reporting.
